- HESTIA CLINICAL VACCINATION TRAINING PROGRAMME
This CPD certified programme has been designed to meet the National Minimum Standards and Core Curriculum for Immunisation Training, as set out by Public Health England (PHE). Pharmacists providing the Flu Vaccination Service, or administering other vaccines (e.g. HPV and Hepatitis A & B) are required to receive a comprehensive foundation in immunisation training. Completing this programme will provide you with the skills and knowledge required to deliver these services.

FACE-TO-FACE PRACTICAL SESSION
£95.00
The session is 3.5 hours long and delivered by experienced specialist vaccinators. Key topics covered include:
- Locating the injection site
- Intramuscular injection technique
- Subcutaneous injection technique
- Intranasal injection technique
- Basic Life Support including CPR training
- Anaphylaxis management
- Reconstitution of vaccines
A certificate will be issued upon successful completion of the course. Booking the practical course automatically enrols you onto the online E-learning module. This must be completed prior to attending the face-to-face training session.
The Course Consist Of The Elements:

Pharmacists are expected to undertake an annual refresher in vaccination training as per NHS England and NHS Improvement. Completing our online E-learning module will ensure your knowledge stays up to date with changes in practice and guidance. A certificate will be issued upon completion of the module.
Our course has now been updated to include reconstitution & injection techniques for Pfizer-BioNTech and AstraZeneca vaccines.
